Lisa Schick Hudspeth

A professional with 25+ years of experience in fine art and antiques, business management, and appraisal services; Lisa is uniquely qualified to offer personal property appraisal (Fine art, antiques and residential contents)  and estate liquidation services.  Lisa is committed to using the highest ethical standards and especially enjoys helping clients through what is often a difficult transitional phase of their lives.

Her education includes a degree in Art from Duke University, and MBA from UNC – Chapel Hill.  Lisa worked at the Smithsonian’s Museum of American Art, The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, and as a Director of Marketing with a Fortune 25 company before starting Heirloom Estates, LLC.  Lisa is USPAP (US Professional Appraisal Practices) certified and Certified Accredited Appraiser  by the International Society of Appraisers.

Founded more than 20 years ago, Heirloom Estates, LLC earned the reputation as a “go-to” company for high-end estates. Heirloom Estates’ success is based on Lisa’s ability to appropriately value and secure top dollar for her client’s property. Rather than relying on local or wholesale liquidation markets, Lisa’s  network of national auction houses and large client list  are used to maximize client’s sales. While her background includes work on eight figure licensing deals and leadership of a $500 million corporate business, Lisa is perhaps most proud of founding her antiques, appraisal, and estate sale venture. Heirloom Estates remains  a very successful company in an industry where 95% of all businesses lose money.

Lisa's "What's it Worth" column has been featured in the Charlotte Observer and Greensboro News and Record. Her broad-ranging corporate, legal and appraisal experience enable her to bring a unique skill set to meeting your appraisal and high end estate sale needs.
